Reasons why you should be doing martial arts everyday

Martial Arts students train with passion.
Have you ever had a friend ask “What are you doing today?“
You: “Going to the gym for training."
Your friend: “Again??!”
If you’ve had this conversation one too many times, you’ll know that you’re a true martial artist. you have a reason to train, your workouts have purpose and substance and you are in the elite group of people in the world who are learning what it takes to be a champion.
Not a just fighting champion, (we create those to) but a training champion. You learn skills, find purpose and set goals.
Some people may even find themselves foregoing their desk jobs for a career in martial arts. Whichever way martial arts and training influences you, we’re sure that you can relate to a few of these changes or more
.
Here are a few reasons why you should be doing martial arts training everyday.
1) You become more focused.
The more you train martial arts, the better you become at focusing on your goals. You know that hard work and discipline will help you achieve your goals faster, and that getting sidetracked could lead to your demise. We learn that fight training is about preparation, and lack or prep can be a disaster in the ring or on the street.
Because you’re so used to goal setting and staying focused at training, doing the same at work or school becomes easier. You know what it takes to accomplish a task and you’ll stop at nothing till you’ve completed it.

2) You become more humble.
In our martial arts classes, each workout begins with a sign of respect. A touch of the gloves, a salute...A mutual understanding and respect for the other guy, (or girl) regardless of their skill level.

When you train martial arts, you’ll come across training partners of many different levels and backgrounds. Some may be athletically gifted, some may be more technical – there will always be someone to challenge you.

Because you’ve trained so much, you get used to it, you become more accepting of yourself as a martial artist. You’re OK with making mistakes and losing to a sparring partner every once in awhile because that’s just the way it is. What’s important is that you learn from these mistakes and turn them into strengths later on.

3) You will learn to walk away from trouble
Many people believe that training martial arts makes a person more violent. Because they’re exposed to so many techniques, people think that it’s only natural that they would use it on others.

A true martial artist is the complete opposite of violent. In fact, he will probably walk away from getting into fights if he can. He knows that using martial arts against other people is the last option, even if he is being attacked.

Add to that the ability to control the adrenaline rush of a situation and we have someone that is in total control.

4) You become more fit.
Training martial arts day in and day out will not only benefit you mentally, spiritually and emotionally, but also physically. You become so focused on learning and improving the techniques you’ve been taught in class, that you don’t notice all the weight you’ve been losing and that muscle you’ve been gaining!

Many workouts are aimless and boring. Martial Arts gives you a true reason to train, and the benefits are numerous. Speed, power, accuracy, balance, endurance and being able to move better than ever.

Having a toned, fit body is just one of the many benefits of martial arts. You don’t even have to work for it – it’s something that just happens naturally.

5) You become friends and meet some amazing people.
When you train martial arts, you’ll meet people on the same journey as you. They put in as much effort as you do, talk about martial arts the same way you do and even crave for the same cheat meals as you!

There’s nothing like sparking a friendship with like-minded individuals. It makes it that much easier to stay on track with your goals and motivates you to work even harder than before.

Our team of martial arts students make some of the best friends you can find anywhere.

6) You become more confident.
The confidence you get from training martial arts is undeniable. Not only do you feel secure about the way you feel and look, but also about being prepared for any compromising situation that might come your way.

The determination and focus you inherit from the mental aspect of training martial arts also has a huge effect on your confidence level. How many people do you know is able to submit someone twice their weight? How many people do you know have their black belts in kickboxing, israeli krav maga or jeet kune do?

7) You become unbreakable.
One of the greatest gifts that all martial artists inherit from daily training is the strengthening of the mind, body, and soul. Countless hours of training will forge a warrior spirit within you that is unbreakable. In life, we will encounter adversities, failures, setbacks, obstacles, and so much more. We must also battle our fears, doubts, and insecurities. Martial arts can help us conquer those fears, doubts, and insecurities. Above all, martial arts will teach us to be unbreakable and never to give up on our dreams

There’s no doubt that training martial arts everyday has a tremendous effect on your life, inside and outside the ring, cage or mats. The changes may not be instantaneous, but they could definitely change the very way you live your life. So tell us, when will you start training martial arts?
